Devoted to MACC

MACC's Food Services Department is buzzing with activity 365 days a year! We depend heavily on our fantastic volunteers who help us day and night in the pantry and kitchen. Our Food Services Manager, Carmen Rodriguez has created a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests and volunteers.

The Shepherd's Place Kitchen at 466 Main St. serves a hot meal from 11:00am - 12:15pm, Monday through Saturday, for anyone in the community in need of a meal. We serve an average of 70 midday meals. An average of 50 meals (dinners and breakfasts) are served daily to shelter guests. A special Christmas meal is served by our volunteers on Christmas Day. The Salvation Army at 661 main St. serves a hot meal at noon on Sundays and a Special Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving day.

The MACC Food Pantry at 466 Main St. is closed on major holidays. The pantry distributes groceries to Manchester & Bolton families in emergency situations on Mon., Wed., and Fri from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00am and on Tues. and Thurs. from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. A satellite pantry is open on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30am at the Squire Village PAL office (52 Ruby Drive). An average of 450 families receive a week of groceries from the pantry each month.

MACC hosts a Mobile Foodshare distribution on alternate Tuesday mornings 9:30am - 10:30am at the following dates and locations:

October 2 - Parking lot across from Emanuel Lutheran (60 Church St.)
October 16 - Parking lot across from St. Bridget Church (80 Main St.)
October 30 - Parking lot on Birch St. (behind Elk's Club)
November 13 - Orford Village Commons (370 West Center St.)
November 27 - Parking lot on Birch St. (behind Elk's Club)

For low income households. Please bring your own bags or boxes.

MACC is fortunate to have the support of the greater Manchester community. We receive countless donations from individuals, faith organizations, businesses, civic organizations and town employees. We could not operate without your support and donations.

Thanks you so much for your concern for others and for your time and talents.
